2025年9月10日，美國右翼政治人物、總統特朗普的支持者查理·柯克（Charlie Kirk）在猶他州出席活動時遭槍擊身亡。[1]

9月12日，Facebook用戶「Patrick Yeh」發佈一張圖片，圖片左側為柯克，右側為英國著名音樂人、披頭四（The Beatles）成員保羅麥卡尼（Paul McCartney）。「Patrick Yeh」稱麥卡尼表示：

「安息吧，查理·柯克。難以想像僅僅因為意見不同就結束了一個人的生命。這樣奪走某人的聲音……讓人感到震撼。我們各不相同，卻是同一群人。他的離世留下了一個無法忽視的傷口」。

帖文獲6,211個表情反應、257次分享及85個留言。[2]

Instagram用戶「MMA Uncensored Plus」於9月13日發佈相同圖片及內容的英文帖文，帖文獲得693個讚好。[3]

查核

上述帖文並未提供消息來源。使用Google逆向搜尋圖片，可發現「Patrick Yeh」發佈的麥卡尼照片由圖片分享網網站Flickr用戶「Raph_PH」於2024年12月拍攝及上傳，並非近期照片。[4]

使用Google搜尋「MMA Uncensored Plus」發佈的英文悼詞，可發現網站「USA HOTNEWS」發佈的一篇文章內容與「Patrick Yeh」帖文相似。[5]該篇文章宣稱麥卡尼於柯克離世當日夜晚在社交媒體發佈一張柯克與家人的黑白合照，並表示：

「願查理·柯克安息。難以想像意見不合竟能帶走一條生命。如此奪去他人聲音…令人深感震憾。我們各不相同，但同為人類。他的離去留下我們無法忽視的傷痛。」（“RIP Charlie Kirk. It’s unimaginable that disagreement could end a life. Taking someone’s voice like this… it shakes you to your core. We are all different, yet one people. His passing leaves a wound we cannot ignore.”）

「USA HOTNEWS」又稱麥卡尼發佈帖文一事獲《CNN》和《BBC》報導[6]，然而翻查麥卡尼的X、Instagram帳號以及《CNN》、《BBC》網站，並未發現相關帖文或報導。[7-10]

在Google搜尋「Paul McCartney Charlie Kirk」，可發現Facebook專頁「Rustwood Rhythms」於2025年9月12日發佈的英文帖文，宣稱麥卡尼在9月11日的紐約演唱會上邀請觀眾為柯克以及9·11事件中的逝者默哀一分鐘，並指他之後開始演唱歌曲《God Bless America》及全場反應熱烈。[11]

「Rustwood Rhythms」在帖文評論中附上多個網站連結，其中兩個連結分別導向至網站「My Nigeria」和「USA HOTNEWSS」（並非上述「USA HOTNEWS」）發佈的相似文章。[12,13]兩篇文章內容與網傳説法大致相同，但多處細節存在疑點，部分內容甚至互相矛盾。例如：

  • 「My Nigeria」的文章發佈日期顯示為2023年9月15日，即柯克逝世近兩年前。
  • 「Rustwood Rhythms」帖文聲稱麥卡尼在全場默哀一分鐘後即刻演唱歌曲《God Bless America》，但文中提及歌詞來自另一歌曲《Imagine》。[14,15]
  • 文章稱麥卡尼此次演唱會現場片段在社交媒體傳播，且出現大量使用標籤「#ImagineAtMSG」的帖文，但搜尋社交媒體X及短片平台TikTok並未發現相關話題及影片。[16-18]
  • 使用Google圖片逆向搜尋，可發現文章配圖均為麥卡尼過往演出照片，其中兩張配圖分別於2008年以及2020年已在網絡傳播。[19,20]
  • 使用Wayback Machine在麥卡尼個人網站翻查過往巡演資訊，並未發現他於2025年9月11日在紐約有演出安排。[21]
  • 文章宣稱演唱會在麥迪遜廣場花園（Madison Square Garden）舉行，翻查場館網頁於2025年9月10日的Wayback Machine備份網頁，並未顯示麥卡尼當日在該處演出。[22]

「My Nigeria」簡介稱該網站發佈有關尼日利亞地理、文化及美食等領域的內容，首頁顯示的文章則為尼日利亞各類富豪排行榜且無標題圖片。[23,24]「USA HOTNEWSS」和「USA HOTNEWS」的網站使用相似設計，首頁僅有一寫有「突發新聞」（Breaking News）的相同影片，並無任何個別文章或分類連結可供點閱。[25,26]以上網站頁面均嵌入廣告，疑為批量生產文章以吸引流量、賺取廣告收入的內容農場網站，並非可靠資料來源。

瀏覽「Rustwood Rhythms」專頁發佈的過往帖文，多為配上誇張標題且與麥卡尼相關的內容，標題文字包括「突發：麥卡尼震驚全球」、「麥卡尼發文支持柯克後驚動樂壇，40萬粉絲瞬間流失」等。以上帖文均附有連結引導至上述內容農場網站。[27,28]

事實查核機構Lead Stories於2025年9月發佈查核報告，將「保羅麥卡尼悼念查理柯克逝世」的說法判定為「誘餌式標題」（Clickbait）網站發佈的虛構內容。[29]

社交媒體上亦有帖文宣稱麥卡尼在倫敦的演唱會中段暫停，並向柯克致敬，惟事實查核機構Snopes指出該說法錯誤。[30]
